2009 was rough for me. I battled with depression, anxiety and depersonalization disorder. I spent a good portion of that year feeling out of touch with reality. Detached. I felt as though I was going through the motions of life, a lot like a machine. It was terrifying. I got this tattoo as a reminder that no matter how scary things get, no matter how horrible I feel on the inside, I deserve love. That things get better. I have my best friend to thank for that.

Stranger things have happened, stranger things have been loved.
